Interesting about installing pistons backwards to change the thrust loading on the cylinder wall.

Thank you for the provision of the Technical Service Bulletins . This is of course the source for such facts , original from GM , Great!

For me , who has not been familiar with the subject for long , it is of course very instructive when I read bulletins like this . It's a shame in my opinion that there are errors in the forum's own library . As a newbie , you read this and of course believe it .

The one with the name Turnpike Cruiser from Chevrolet was also new to me , I only knew it from Mercury . I have never seen the fact that the pistons on the passenger side have to be installed backwards on any other engine . It was very interesting for me , to read these bulletins , thank you !
