Dick nailed it (as expected!). Many think it was the shape of the valve covers, and you have to admit it does make some sense. When these cross the auction block on TV and the "color commentators" spout their take on the great "W" they often pass this incorrect information down to the viewers. The real story must be too long to tell on TV
