Thanks Cecil I do have had the codes for the 62 paints. Also have the 63 codes which has both codes for gloss and flat. 
You’re welcome Paul. I found a lot of late great Chevy magazines and it had the February 1999 issue that has the paint info so I bought them.
Well I have 2 different headers in this thread the first set I mocked up were a set of tri y jardine headers and the second set I’m running are from Wilson headers. Finally got a paint that is pretty close to the original color. I got it from tcp global as they have the old codes converted to newer formulas. This was my first time using a paint gun so don’t judge too harshly! I tapped off a part under the dash pad so I could always have a reference of the real original color and to see how close this is.
I know it’s supposed to be semi flat and that’s what this mix was supposed to be. It is duller than when I shot it last night. This is right after the third coat.

Got the dash mostly together. Made my own tools for the ignition nut and other screws as I didn’t want to pay for what is available. Also got a friend over to help rope the windshield in. Had a local upholstery guy come over and put the headliner in before the glass also.
