these guys helped me a lot building the 61 348 and the 63 409......
..as for not getting the pistons out.........I pulled a 348 from a ditch and you couldn't see where the piston ended
and the cylinder started.................about an hour a piston first heat, WD 40, pound w/8lb weight and they start to
move about a mm at a time..........ended up sleeving 6 of the cylinders and boring .030 and that was a smooth
running 'W'.................so don't give up.......a good shop can sleeve a cylinder and it will be better than orig...
