Sad News :( Don Holm

I don't know if anyone on this forum knew Don. He was about 20 miles from me. He had a 58 Impala 2 Dr with 348 tri power he bought new and upgraded it to four speed a few months later. Usually seen him driving a very nice late 60s Chevy pickup.

Don donated the 58 and 6 tractors with the funds to build a storage building to a local historical association.
The remainder of his stuff is to be auctioned this Sat Dec 2. Google Don Holm estate sale.
There is a 409 engine listed. A few years ago he told me he had a 65 340hp and th400 he was wanting to know the value of.
Also a 58 four door and the nice pickup are on it.

This is The 58 that Don donated to the Menno SD Pioneer acres. I thought he had converted to a 4 spd but is a 3sp on column. All original one owner.

Hope that they put up a remembrance plaque or name the storage building in his honor. That was a nice thing to do. RIP
