Actually I believe it was separate piece that was soldered on. Looked like it was cut out from another tank and it was an extra charge.

Here is a correct 63 409 factory Harrison radiator in this factory 340 HP 409

(it has the wrong 340 HP air cleaner -should be round snorkel chrome air cleaner)
This car had the original motor, original 340 HP 409 carb, original alternator, original water pump, original 4 speed etc ( I purchased the 63 all original 409 convertible in Minnesota not restored
we restored it for a friend as shown in the pictures before 2001

did the rad shop destroy the upper tank and side frame?
I was able to get a 63 for my 62 , when i did the research in the GM parts book from 64 found out the 62 and the 63 used the same frame # and upper tank
I did have to have the rad Re-cored but I feel pretty good about the out come it was pricie but worth it to get what I needed
the frame also had the correct square spacers all were 3 core
I do have a NOS tank listed on Ebay if your interested we can talk

It’s a dealer add on A/C. The car had the original 4 core Harrison till the guys at the local shop messed it all up.
But where can I find the repop Harrison tanks at
Did the dealer use original equipment W ac brackets & compressor or was it aftermarket stuff. Would be neat to see if aftermarket.
