It was a 1963 Buick LeSabre/Wildcat! It used a Hurst competition plus without Hurst embossed on the stick.Impalaguru ... Was it the 1965 Pontiac GTO.
You would be correct. I think the year was about 1981, Carmine.Carmine is showing his age...$17 for ohaul wouldn't cover postage today....
the Crusher had a Hurst in in when I bought it in 88....
I sold that original shifter ( regret it now)that was in the car when I bought it and put the Hurst lower and repro shift handle that bolted on.I installed a hurst competition 2 shifter in my impala because that is what I have in all the other cars.I also have this one.

I believe I could put together a 63 SS 4 speed shifter if you want one. Do you have a Muncie or a T10?I sold that original shifter ( regret it now)that was in the car when I bought it and put the Hurst lower and repro shift handle that bolted on.
I have a 63 Buick T-10 trans. It came with an odd shifter, maybe that same one. It looks like a regular T-10 but it used a different tailshaft that did not allow the yoke to go in very far due to a C clip on the tail shaft. I posted about this a while back on what I found out about it but now I don't remember the details. It was a 1963 Buick LeSabre/Wildcat! It used a Hurst competition plus without Hurst embossed on the stick.
Well I'm strange but I would only want the one I had but thanks anyway. I know the guy he is local probably might still have it .I might try to contact him.I believe I could put together a 63 SS 4 speed shifter if you want one. Do you have a Muncie or a T10?
