Barry it has. I have wanted once since I was a kid. Never could afford one -even when they were 1500 in the 70s! My 409 Impala was $450. I actually have been looking for a roller for years but finding one is hard and even then you are looking at 40K!. One of my clients that he and I always talk guns(he lent me his AR 15 with a gold ball shooter on it to play with-freaking launched a golf ball over 300 yards!). One day he mentioned to my receptionist he needed to sell one of his Corvettes and he had a 64 a 80 and a 2006. So I called him and looked at it and liked it-although with 2 black Trans Ams I would have preferred a different color. Asked him what he wanted for it and he said make me an offer. I told him you are a good client and a friend I don;t want to insult you. SO after a couple of months he came up with a price and said I know you'll take better care of it than my adult son! And we had a deal.
