Rear Bumper guards

All indications is that in 1962 you have 2 one on each side and the bumper has mounts I have the dealer books which show 4 and I like it. which is correct

61"s came with 4. 62's only 2. Dealer book came out early and showed 4. They must of changed it to 2 when production started.

Thank you I'm not a chevy guy but I'm trying and I find that things are not as clear as my other cars ford, amc and chrysler

Rear bumper guards are RPO 150 being one pair of guards. Additional guards could be added as Dealer Installed Accessories from the 1962 Acessories Catalog.

Thanks that would explain it I see pictures of 62s with 4 and some with 2 my old brain needs to know , in my younger days not so much

As been said , they were an option they came as a pair. Some people decided they wanted 2 pairs. I have one pair on mine.
