Back at the car. Big thanks to Dennis Jackson for hauling these wheels to drag way 42 and a big thanks to tooth and Jeff for bringing them to Boone County.
Also a bit of sad and happy news. The sad is Nathan sold his Boss 9 engine project, but the happy is we sat down made a list and ordered all the fuel system parts needed for this one.
Being I was at Nathan's working on the Shaker I did get to powwow with Nathan went he got home from work and discussed some of his needed plans of attack on his project.
The weather was extra nice so got a chance to open the door for a better look.
Nathan decided to take a break from his new girlfriend and Christmas lights and asked for a hand and get started on the fuel system. So here's yesterday progress.
Started playing with the spark plug wires, just didn't have any wire holders we like yet. So now we are torn between zip ties and the cardboard.
What heads & tunnel wedge intake is he using? Those intakes are sexy, even if it is a Ford. Will any of the flat 4 wire separators fit his wires and utilize the tabs on his valve covers? Just a thought.
Jeff
Decided to get a start on the wiring yesterday. Fond out even with a new harness we still need more wire. So it's just kind of just laying out in the direction it will go.
Had to cut into the old harness to get out the wiper and ignition plugs.
Got a little more time in on Nathan's car. Did get some wiring harness bundled and terminated. Felt like more progress should have been done but it did take a bit to pick up where we left off.
Water temp, fan temp switch and oil pressure harness.
The mess at the firewall.
Work in progress.
To cold for outside work so I spent some time in Nathan's heated garage tackling more of the wiring.
I did manage to get the harness run to the rear of the car and wired up the relays for the fans and water pump.
