I'm selling our 10" Logan Model 200 lathe. It has been in my family's garage for 44 years used only for hobby projects. It was in my parents house but is no longer needed.

It come with a complete set of change gears for threading, a threading dial, both three and 4 jaw chucks, reverse jaws for the 3 jaw, a few tool holders +. All items seen on the lathe and in the chip pan are included. Items on the floor below not included. Includes a factor parts manual.
Wired for 110V.

It is in good working order, cuts well for a lathe of this age. It is equipped with a 1/2 HP motor. Only issue it has is starting, needs a hand getting turning. Once running it is fine. It needs a starting switch from what I can tell.

Asking $700.00
Item location Big Bear Lake CA.
Needs to be picked up. Can't ship
If interested and a member of this form in good standing, feel free to PM me. The forms won't let me upload the full res. photos, I will email to interested buyer.

I really like the older lathes. They were made to last. We have a large machine shop in Sacramento that I was just looking at the huge old lathes when the owner asked if he could help me. I told him I just like the old lathes. We talked for some time. He felt the same. Most were huge lathes from the 40's or so. Although mine wasn't that old, I had a 14x36 that I got rid of because I wasn't using it. Even though I guess I don't need one, to this day I regret getting rid of it. Just having the ability to make things was nice. Good luck on your sale.

I have a well equipped South Bend heavy 10 that I currently use but am looking for a nice 15” Leblond or similar. It’s never over is it?

You got that right. Several times now I thought it/things were over for different reasons. But whether it was health or I thought I was done with something particular, it wasn't over. Now I find that I am working on bikes again, looking at cars again, looking at fishing boats again, etc, etc. etc. And then I miss things like my lathe. But I don't miss my boring bar or valve grinder:dunno
