HI FOLKS, Ihave a 61 bubble top with a replacement 409,and a 350 turbo. Iwould like to put a t-5 out of a 92 camero in it with hyd. clutch. Can I do this with the bell housing from the 92 and have it mount in the straight up and down position???? THANKS SMITTY :dunno will post pict. if I ever get the car finished :cheers

:?:scratch Smitty,While you could use the bellhousing,and make the hyd.clutch w o rk with some fabrication,I dont think you can mount the trans straight up like you want it.The T-5 trans is terribly weak,and in that heavy car,and a torquey engine,it'l break in short order behind anything bigger than a stock 283:bang If y oure dead set on a T-5:dunno go with the "W orld Class units found behind the Mustang[about 1993 and later"On a "personal experiance"note,the T-5 does NOT TOLERATE speed or power shifting:evil:cuss
