Took a little Road Trip to meet up with @Jeff Olson to pick up an extra 409 for my 55/150 Project. The Block is in really great shape, I'm pleased as Punch... I got to messing with it today soaking it in WD-40 and cleaning all the Threads as well as knocking out all the Freeze Plugs so I can do an Electrolysis Dip and get the last of the Rust out of the Water Passages. Jeff had it Hot Dipped and its very clean but I want to get everything out of it before I start the build. Now that I have a spare motor I'm going to build this one first and then swap it out with the existing 409 which I'll rebuild next.
