Hello Everyone,
I've been lurking around the site for awhile, so I'd better get around to introducing myself. My name is Randy and I live in Phoenix.
I have a 58 Impala Convertible (white) that's been with me for about 4 years. It's an older restoration, about 20 years. The wife named her Pearl, after a dear relative (my Sun City Grandmother) who passed away about 5 years ago. Pearl has a 348 with a 4BBL and a Powerglide.
Pearl broke a valve spring a couple of months ago and dropped an exhaust valve. Just as I was thinking how well she was running!!! That will teach me! This lead to a tear down which is heading towards a complete rebuild. So Pearl is presently on skates.
I've learned a lot out of reading the many posts here on the site. I really admire you guys that do your own engine work.
