Those are the correct wheels to use!

Same as I plan to put on the 59, except I'm hoping to squeeze 9"-10" wide into the rear.

Old wheels looked good too.

Wheels look good.I am also thinking of something like that for my 63.Would 8 inch wheels with 4 inch back spacing work. Also the trailer that you are using is that a 24 foot. I can see the escape door which is what i would like.

Bill

not sure about the size of wheel your wanting to use, but mine have a 3 1/2 backspacing

The wheel I have is not made in 8 inch , but they offer it in a 8 1/2
I went with the 7 , due to the fact that I had 7 inch on the car , and was not sure about the 81/2 with a tire mounted ( did not know if it would fit into the fender wells )

The trailer is 24 ft

I had the side door moved so it would work with my 61 ( door )

Love the old American Look. I'm running the 10's on the rear and 8's upfront on my 60. Cast centeer polished lips. In my opinion no finer looking aftermarket wheel.:brow

What size rear tire? What backset?

I'm running 295/50/15 on rear, had to use a 3/8 spacer to fill wheel well. Backspacing is standard I believe. I would have to measure when I get the chance. The reason they work for me is I narrowed the rear a bit when it was rebuilt, retaining all the stock suspension mounts. My computer is acting up otherwise I would try to load a pic. Considered the 325/ Drag radial until I heard they won't work with the 4spd.

And what are you running in front?

Rim widths for both ends?

I would like to tun 295-50's on the rear and 245-50's on the front of my 59.

One major issue seems to be finding high speed rated tires in BOTH of those sizes. :scratch

Front rim width and off-set?

I like a little of the "Big & Little" look for the 59, as well as very responsive steering.
Also want to sit low without being a low-rider.
So I hope to be able to run 50's on both ends.

What is your front rim width and off-set? :dunno
