I live in Pahrump Nv. I built a 58 chevy yeoman. Made a mistake and put a 454 in it. Looking for a 409 or 348. Thanks
Welcome to the club that likes to pay 2/3 more for all of our engines/parts to keep them running. But we would all sell the family dog before giving up our 348-409 engines. Sweet wagon! I almost ended up with a Yeoman to build but couldn't pass up on my 64' 9 passenger Belair once I saw it was a V8, automatic, A/C and the 9 passenger seat made the icing on the cake. Ultimately my wife will need to be able to drive this old girl. After the race in Onawa Dragway July 24-25th the wagon will get the 348 dual quad switched out for a stroked 348 dual quad and 700r4 transmission along with the new interior. The goal is to have her strapped back together for the end of August.
What are your plans and asperations for your 348-409 build?
