I am a classic car junky. I love buying, selling, restoring and driving old chevy's. I own a 1970 chevelle, 1964 c-10 pickup, and a 1981 chevy luv truck with a 355 v8 in it. What got me interested in this website is I aquired a chevy intake at a yardsale that no one could identify. I had never seen one like it before either. Turns out it is a 1963 chevy mystery motor intake used by nascar. I am hoping there are enough chevy enthusiast on here that might know exactly what I have here. If you have any information that will help me please post. I googled the casting number 0232166 and found a magazine article where Smokey Yunick actually refers to this casting number as one used on the mystery motor and that he thought it worked the best out of the 4 designs on it.
