Though my car isn't a 348 or 409, I'd like to say, hHey.

My car is a 60 Impala 4 door; originally, a 283, but was changed to prior to my purchase.
Also originally it was turquoise and was repainted Dark Blue with a white top.
The wheels are 15"... While I am going to keep the 15", I am ditching the beauty rings and dog dishes in favor of tri-bar spinner caps.

this is my first Impala and has already proven to be a lot of fun.

Developed a love for the Impala over the last few months while I was shopping..... before that, I've always been a Blue Oval guy... Then I got bit by the General.... I'm fairly certain the day I bought it, my Grandfather (who sold Fords) and my Dad (who always drove Fords) both of them turned over in their graves....

The 60 became my favorite, but.... if someone gave me a 58, I'd be all over it. :-)
I definitely can see more in my future (just don't tell my wife)

It's pretty but definitely far from original and probably the worst thing about the interior is.... the steering wheel was NOT re-painted. It's still turquoise. One of my winter projects unless I come up with a spare wheel.
