Need help on decoding a cowl tag

1965 Impala. I have been all over the internet trying to decode this tag. I am getting that 164837 is a 2-door coupe. but the 814 tells me black vinyl used in wagons and convertibles. It is a 1965 convertible but want to make sure it was not a 2-door coupe that was chopped. Any help would greatly appreciated.
