Just wanted to say Hello

Just wanted to Introduce myself. Name is Charlie. I have a 58 Chevy Impala that has been in my family roughly 35 years. 99% of that time, it has been in my Dad's garage. Now it's in mine. The car is in very good condition for it's age. The mechanical aspect of it, however, is not. The 348 was basically in boxes with parts missing. So I'm going through the motor for my first time with a 348. I've done 350, 327, 400, and 421 engines. I have a thousand questions and hope some good answers come my way. Look forward to communicating with everyone I can.

Welcome Charlie, My first car back in 1960 was a used 58 Impala red convertable 348. I really liked that car and had a lot of fun with it.

The guys here will help you get that 348 engine running again.
