Beef stout pies tonight.
Last night's dinner. Meatloaf and au gratin potatoes.
That brings up a story. About 50 years ago, my mom went to Washington DC on a 4-H trip I think. Well we were country people and ate all homemade meals that Mom cooked. She made up some stuff and put in the deep freeze for us while she was gone so we wouldn't starve! She had gotten a store bought box of dried au gratin potatoes for us. Upon return she asked how we had fared. We said fine except that we did not want anymore of those "all rotten potatoes".
