Here's a few pics of the 63. It doesn't really have hubcaps on it, I just set them over the cragars in these pictures to see what it would look like with them. I do plan on getting a stock hood for it at some point. The engine on the stand is the 472 stroker thats going in it. That's my son in the one picture helping me take the 348 out that was in the car when I bought it. The story I got from the previous owner of the car was that he was told by the owner before him that it originally had a 409 in it and it was taken out 30+ years ago and put in a 55 chevy. It does have a 7000 rpm tach that looks original and it has the correct radiator for a 409. The only thing it doesn't have is a place on the fuel sender for a return line. Either way it doesn't matter, the car is a blast to drive and I can't wait to get that 472 in it. Oh and sorry, I don't really have any pics of the 62. It's in a million pieces right now and kind of on the back burner till I get the 63 drivable again.
Yep, all 340's had the return line too.
Ron, Did the high performance 327's have the return line as well?
