Drag boat crash

Lost a friend yesterday in Waco, Tx at the SDBA Drag Boat Races. Frank Carter crashed his boat and did not make it. Passed away at the hospital. Have known Frank a long time and he and my son Casey go all the way back to Jr. HS. Great Guy and great boat racer and great gear head. RIP Frank.

Sorry for your loss. Big reason I don't want to go fast in my Hondo Pantera GT. These drag boats (V drive and Jet) are the craziest performance machines around because of the risk of loosing control. Hitting the water at 200mph is no joke. Lost a well known racer 2 years ago when his pickle turned right and hit shore at 150mph. He killed the power to the boat right away but it slowed to 150mph. Here is a video of Frank having fun 2 years ago. What a machine! Rest in peace buddy!
