Hello. I joined this forum last year and I have been remiss in introducing myself. I have owned various 64's over the years but currently only have one. All of my cars have had small blocks. I have always wanted a 409 and finally purchased a standard bore block and crank at a swap meet, then bought some 583 heads. I was saving up for the build when I happened across a ready to assemble 409 engine, from a widow of local car guy. This is what I ultimately built for my 64.
I have not had time to do my 409 conversion yet. I love reading this forum and see alot of great info from alot of members. If I may, I will throw my 2 cents worth in at times. Happy New Year to all, Jon
