Hi, I'm new to the forum. from Norway. I have a 59 impala with 350/350, plan on putting in a 454/th400. have some questions, are there any special challenges such as steering/oil pan in terms of space? What type of headers is recommended to use? have some long tubes that are on the big block now, but I'm not sure if they fit... Greetings from Norway

Steering and oil pan shouldn't be a problem. Not 100 % sure but I would guess any of the X frame car headers for a big block will work on a 59.
Like James said will need headers specific for the x frame cars. Will also need a different transmission crossmember, shorter driveshaft, and short waterpump and pullies with correct short accessory brackets.
