what a great forum all the info I have been looking for in one place the thread on truck blocks is all I could have asked for. A friend of mine is doing a full resto on a 59 El Camino (will post pics as soon as I can) and has a 409 truck block 3857656X with 333 heads which I will be building for him. I'm hoping to get up around the 400hp mark and from what I have read so far this seems quite reasonable. I will start a thread on this build as I need to put a shopping list together for when he travels to the States early next year.
