Hello
My name is Ellis, I've been lurking around for a few months now. I live is the San Francisco Bay area, I'm in the process of installing a Jack Gibbs built 409 stroker into my 35 Chevy Master 5 window coupe. it's around 472 cubic inches, hooked to a Tremec T56 Magnum 6 speed, through a ford 9" with 411 gears and a Moser Wavetrac. According to Jack it should be around 575hp 575ftlbs. It's my first W block and I'm really looking forward to getting it on the road, hopefully by the end of March. I thought I would have had it going by the end of January but kept finding things that I just could's leave alone so the project kept expanding. I originally bought the 35 in 1988 and got it on the road in 1990 with a 350, after all those years, when you start tearing into things, you find a lot of little things that need reworking. At some point I'll start a project file and upload some pictures.
