CAM INFO PLEASE

So I gotta low HP 348 I'm new to these.... looking to put a decent cam but I've been told so many things..I just need the facts please. Looking for cam recommendations,looking for nice lope and a lil pep.can I get some helpful info please and thank you

If the picture shown is your short block,you'll either need to have those pistons fly ccut for piston/valve clearence or limit your cam's duration too 220 at .050 on a 110 centerline.That's going to pretty much eliminate the ''lope''Competetion Products sells Howards cams and has a couple that aren't priced to badly and will wake that 348 right up.

One is 215 in.@050 on a 112 ls[no cutting required],has killer low-mid range.''good idle'',the other is 221 in.and ex.[cutting required for intake valve clearence] on a 110 ls,''fair'' idle,strong mid range.These are as big as I would go with those cast pistons.
