For those of you that like 4 legged horse power as well as the piston type.
I returned early yesterday because of rain from the National Chuck Wagon Races in Clinton Arkansas. I'm not into 4 legged horse power, but it is something different to do & I like the socializing & meeting people. For instance. Met an older white gentleman in the motel breakfast area. His name was Mr Street and one of the stories he told was that his Daddy told him that if he ever met another person with the name of Street, they were related. Well after his Daddy had passed he had some tire trouble one evening. The next day he found a tire shop up the road that was run by Streets, but they were black. Said he wished his dad was still alive to explain that!
This year there was supposedly 48 hundred some horses, mules & ponies and 11 hundred some dogs. It's just an amazing display of God & country & down to earth people.
