High hp 348 use a brake vacuum tank?

Just wondering? I saw a 61 348 with tri power and noticed a vacuum tank on the inner fender. I know my 409 425hp does not create enough vacuum for the power brake booster. I looked in the 61 service manual did not not show a vacuum tank for use with high hp 348 engine if it was equipped with power brakes.

Some of the early tri power had vacuum operated secondary's. Not sure when that ended.

Yes FH engines did have the vacuum tank

All factory 3x2 348's from 58 through 61 had vacuum linkage. The early 58's had a combo fuel/vacuum pump.
