any pics of 409 cars from this race?

Here a a few I took in the Staging lanes before first round.

Front to back: Scott, Bryan Ricky and Shan.

Front to back: The Falcon is Scott's grandson, Owen. He was running one of the Hot Rod classes I believe. Next is Dave, My car, and Glen Fagan's white Impala.

Val McCombs with Jim in the golf cart and I think the young man driving the golf cart is their son, could be a grandson though.

Denny Perry's son, Dave Perry. Not sure why I didn't get a picture of Denny.

Sometimes Lady Luck is on your side. Got lucky and won the race for one thing. . Loaded car up and left it at Fugate's pad in Norwalk. All was good to go for Dragway 42. Picked car up, pulled into Dragway 42, unloaded car. Went to start it up.....the damn throttle z-bar rod from the inside of the car to the outside to the carbs broke. Got it fixed due to the track owner Ron welding. He helped for 2.5 hours. I thought I was toast but just missed 1 time trial. Figured I was out for the weekend. He did a good job because I took home $500 for the best reaction time .0008
I beat the .01 that was also mine...good times...good folks.

Thanks Bryan for the great job organizing the event.
