Hi. New here, name is Shane, I own a 62 impala coupe, 409/409 bench seat, which I love

When I purchased it, it had a T10, which I broke, now has a 1969m22 Muncie.
However I wonder if it originally had a 3 speed manual? If so we're they column change? And how rare would this car be, I have tried uncle google, it's not an SS, as I mentioned it's bench seat.

It's possible.just not likely. The 3 speed and 4 speed has differernt columns.

Welcome to this great site Shane. There is a thread under the 58-64 Chevy car heading, 59-63 cowl tags. Post a picture of your cowl tag and vin tag(if you like) and Carl will decode it for you.
