The pro mod they had was run by Don with Earl Wade. Got to talk to them at eithe the Grove or Joliet. The were all over that car lke they were 16. Great to watch. They did a lot of match racing with Beswick at that time.

Back then, it may have been to only new stroker crank available without weding, which was what big end suppliers did back then. Now there are many choices. Good for a parts display for the cool factor.

Looks like they had their own cranks forged. Back then marerials were no where near what we have today. I have a couple of LS6 cranks that were modified. Those date back to 1970.
If M/T started with a new forging, they could probaly make them without welding. Which if properly done is fine.
