The red 62 had a mouse 327 dual 4 barrel when I purchased it, after I put the 409/409 in it, put the 327 on Craigslist and a guy with a 62 vette purchased it for 1500.00.
For the same reason I have used rockers, push rods/retainers, cam and these 16 lifters they didn't fail plus their America made not Chinese.. If one of them would've failed all 16 would have been in the dumpster.
I have a set of hydraulic lifters, I either took them out of a 396, 427 or 409. I wrote on the box Big Block Chevy.
Is there a different?
