Yea, l agreed Don Jacks. I’m planning to block them off with welsh plugs.

I have now found a square bore 600 with electric choke. Hopefully that will be an easier fit up.

I went with a 650 Holley because l couldn’t find an original 4GC carby. My biggest issue is the manifold where it comes in at the back. The adapters l can see are all just the a square outside adapter. That’s why l was thinking about blocking the exhaust feed ports and adding a plate.

Next problem! I need a stainless steel adapter plate to mount the 650 Holley spread bore to my manifold. does anyone have experience with this fix?

One has a stripped out head. The others seem ok, but won’t move. I got an impact driver this morning and I will give it a go today.

Righto, here are the next few problems. I have 4 clutch head screws in the trans cover that are sized into place. Does anyone have any tips or tricks to get these out? Also has anyone pulled the E brake lever off before. Looks like it has a washer and spring sort of setup. Iv never see it...

No worries 64ss409. I checked the SM425 Bell Housing last night and it will fit perfectly. The Bell Housing does not have the top mounting hole that the block does, but has all the others and will fit nicely. I am thinking of drilling a hole in the bell housing to fit that bolt. One more bolt...

Hi guys. Now with the next problem. I cannot use the original gas pedal set up. It currently has the rod that comes from the pedal and goes through the firewall to a pivot bracket setup. I am thinking I will need a cable setup to get around this. Has anyone gone down this path before? Any help...

He guys. Just got my 348 delivered. Noticed a small gap under the intake manifold on the front right hand side. I believe it is a blind hole. has anyone struck this before?

Hi guys. My 348 is built and I should have it here in a few days. Very exciting. Currently my Apache doesn't have a fan shroud for the 235 6 cylinder. Do you think I should fit one for the 348? I currently have the 4 blade fixed steel fan.
