    valve seals for 333 heads?

Are there any valve seals other than the O-Ring style? Have a set of 333 heads & installing stainless valves - hoping to upgrade the valve seals without altering the guides if possible. Thanks

Anyone use one of these distributors?

coogan The body of the distributor appears to have the module integrated? I understand the point about just buy another distributor, but does the module look anything at all like an OEM unit? The outfit I used to work for that sold the Taiwanese distributors got a bunch back for module failure...

Anyone use one of these distributors?

Worked at an outfit briefly that sold Chinese made distributors. The GM non-metallic composite versions often were molded way under the annular ring size of 1.2475 and 1.2490. The result was a serious loss of oil pressure and often-complete engines. I know now to measure any replacement...

348 piston size & source question

Looks like I don't have much of a choice..they own the monopoly! I now understand why there are so many 348 engines "apart" for sale. The individual probably had real intentions of rebuilding them..but reality sets in once you begin looking for parts! Also noticed that if you add up the...

    Various year 348 rebuild kits

Thanks for the responses...but would like to know the difference between the two block generations related to buying parts. I suspect the bearings are the same but not sure about pistons, gaskets, cam etc. What parts are interchangeable?

    Various year 348 rebuild kits

Just dropped my 3798962 (62-65 truck) block off at the machine shop to be tanked and bored. Referencing the Master Rebuild kits what's the difference between the 58-61 and the 62-65 truck block kits....seems that the 62-65 is a less common kit when you can find them. Thanks
